We believe in treating everyone’s pet as if he or she was our own. Having animals ourselves we know how worrying it is when things go wrong, and always aim for not only with the best veterinary care, but also excellent communication, keeping you up to date and included in your pet’s treatment. We treat all pet species, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other rodents, birds and reptiles.
Our veterinary surgeons are experienced in all fields but many also have areas of specialist interest. Our orthopaedic, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery referral services are based at St Davids Veterinary Hospital. Mr Dan Skeldon CertSAS MRCVS runs the orthopaedic and soft tissue service supported by Mr Peter Attenburrow CertSAO carrying out total hip replacements. Carmela Burgess CertAVP runs the internal medicine referral service.
Between our three branches you can expect modern, well-equipped facilities for anaesthesia, X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry and more. In addition to routine medical and surgical procedures we are also well equipped to offer more complex medical and surgical treatments.
Our hospital, next door to St Davids Station, is one of only two sites in Exeter to offer a 24/7 service with a vet and nurse permanently on the premises. This means that if your pet does need to stay with us overnight or at the weekend you can be confident that they will receive the same high level of attention at all times.
In entrusting your pet’s care to St Davids, you can be confident you will receive a high standard of veterinary medicine and surgery, delivered with compassion and professionalism.
